LKUEA was founded on May 7, 1993.
The association brings together companies operating in the wood processing sector, ranging from timber preparation and sawn timber production to the processing of wood into furniture components, furniture, construction elements, and prefabricated houses, as well as the sale of wood products.

LV TIMBER is a modern, technologically advanced sawmill specializing in the processing of aspen and alder logs.
LV TIMBER provides the full processing cycle, including log sawing, longitudinal and cross-cutting of sawn timber, timber drying, planing, and the manufacture of various materials. Their core products are high-quality aspen and alder sawn timber in various dimensions, as well as a range of sauna finishing materials—wall panels (cladding boards), bench boards, and profiled mouldings. Lower-grade materials are used to produce packaging materials—packaging boards and packaging beams.
LV TIMBER processes approximately 20,000 m³ of logs annually.
The production facility is located in the northeast of Latvia, in Smiltene District, 150 km from Riga.
