LKUEA was founded on May 7, 1993.
The association brings together companies operating in the wood processing sector, ranging from timber preparation and sawn timber production to the processing of wood into furniture components, furniture, construction elements, and prefabricated houses, as well as the sale of wood products.

SIA Apsītes AG was founded in 1993. Over the years, the company has gained experience in manufacturing birch, aspen, and alder wood components. In recent years, it has been producing aspen and alder furniture and sauna finishing materials. In parallel, it also manufactures packaging materials. SIA Apsītes AG has been a member of the Latvian Woodworking Entrepreneurs and Exporters Association since its inception.
